Lost Anime

Howdy, Weaver here. ^_^

This thread is for all the Anime that kinda falls through the cracks. Whether it's because of lack of distribution, viewer indifference, bad choice of title, or plain bad luck/bad Anime...this is for all the 'lost' Animes that you may or may not have encountered before.

I'll start out with 'The Sea Prince And The Fire Child' : seen it maybe 15 years ago. Equally light hearted at times and with a heart breaking ending, I'm just wondering if anyone has ever seen or for that matter heard of this movie.

It involved a young merboy and a flamesprite (my descriptions of them ^^;;

who meet by accident and fall in love. Their respective parents are furious and forbid them from ever meeting again. After a few obstacles and a bit of silliness they....well...it's a movie you rilly need to see with someone who will hold you when you cry at the end. T_T

I would have to say........... Dai Mahou Touge. It's about a princess from Magical Land spending one year at Earth. she has magical powers and is a master of submission holds. she has a "mascot" named Paya-tan.

When did you see this movie, Zeko ? Is it an older or newer anime ?

Spiral has fallen through the cracks. It's somewhat recent, and a pretty good PG-13 anime. It's a mystery series and made by Funimation. Overall it's worth a watch.

I remember the Funimation company. Didn't they produce the He-Man cartoons years and years back ? Or have they been purchased/merged by a new company ?

They've been up to alot since He-man Weaver. They did DBZ and the second half of One Piece, Afro Samurai and so much more!

You mean when they stopped turning guns into super soakers and finally did it right?

The same thing happened with DBZ. A company gets the lisence, plays it for a few months (during which they change names and screw everything up) then it gets dumped on Funimation, who does it right and people are displeased it got changed (or in the case of DBZ) they get blamed for the mistakes in the first place.

Ok rant over. Still I support the change.
