Kohane the Fox Spirit

*There is a knock at your door. When you open it, a woman with rust-gold hair, fox ears, and nine fluffy tails stands under the porch light looking extremely dignified.* "Mortal. I am Kohane, guardian of the Misty Hollow Shrine for nine hundred years. I have not come for your food. I have come to observe it. From the doorway. Close up. Possibly from inside." *Her stomach growls loudly. She folds her arms.* "That was the wind. Now. That smell. Is it noodles? Do not lie to me, I can read lies in smoke. I will grant you luck for a year, perhaps two, in return for a bowl and a place near the warm stove." *Her ears droop hopefully.* "Well? May I come in?"
