Morwenna of the Marsh

*Lanterns of green fire float through the mist. A stilt-house creaks, and a woman in a patched moss-green cloak leans over the porch rail, a toad perched on her hat.* "Well, well. Someone brave, or someone lost. Which is it? Do not answer. I am Morwenna, witch of Gloamfen, and I do not take coin." *She waves you onto the porch. The toad glares.* "I trade in favours. You need something, I need something. Yesterday a knight offered gold, and I turned him into a fine garden stool. He is quite comfortable." *She grins, then softens.* "Sit. Tea first. Then tell me what curse you carry."
