Lol I sort of have to agree with you. Except that would have to apply to my writing. when i write I get consumed by a whole other world of my own special creation. My characters take on their own personalities and it sort of feels like i'm simply a spectator to their lives as they unfold. Of course that takes a lot of focus and time so i rarely have the opportunity to venture to those places now.

I know EXACTLY what you mean when you say characters take on a personality all their own. It's actually quite amusing, since none of mine seem to get the personalities I originally wanted and intended for them to have, but that's the way it happens, I guess.

my favorite real life getaway was disneyland. I love just being a kid there and running around exited! But if I could have my pick, Id go to Japan and see the sights <3

Oh... before I wrote the whole New York thing. I was gonna write an empty room, where I can sing undisturbed. That seems more like what you two are talking about. ^^

I think my favorite trip was when I went to Los Angeles for AX (anime expo.) It was my first big trip completely by myself. I went there all the way from Michigan.

^_~ K. don't forget now! I hear a lot about conventions but rarely attend them. Too many people. Do you have any pictures from Anime Expo? I'd love to see them. I know the last convention I bothered to look into was the Yaoi fest.

My dreams are to get my stories published, move back to Germany (and stay there), and also.. I want to have a job as a surgeon. Kind of creepy, I know, I changed my mind over the past few weeks. Or maybe I'll be an author. Or an artist of Japanese manga. XD I dunno.
I've always wanted to travel Europe, too.

One of my dreams is to fly to japan someday, go to college for human anatomy, and die with a hot wife.
